As for funding my habit… Most of the stuff I use is free. There are few things I’m willing to pay a price for. If I’m feeling patient, I may request that my institution purchase it. Otherwise, I pay for it out of my own pocket and take it as a tax deduction as a professional expense.

In vista, I hate how the folder tree is often hidden from view. I’ve been able to drag a few folders to the “favorites” list to speed things up a bit, but quickjump sounds even better. PS, how do you fund your tech habit?
